Cam Tab Alignment Tools

Our Cam Tab Alignment Tools make it quick and easy to line up your cam tabs to your frame!

Our cam tab alignment tools are designed to help perfectly align your new KPOffroad cam tabs to your frame. We use the same tools in our own shop and have proven they make installing your cam tabs much quicker and easier than trying to align the plates by hand! These tools are 3D printed in house out of PLA and are designed for TACKING THE CAM TAB PLATES ON ONLY. Do not leave the tool installed while fully welding the cam tab plates to your frame.

How they work:

It is important that your cam tabs align perfectly with the slot on your frame. If the slots are not aligned the LCA bolt will not be able to fully seat in one direction or the other. We designed these tools to be as quick and easy to use as possible while ensuring the slots align perfectly during install.

1. Weld your tabs into your cam tab plates and prep your frame for install. Let them cool down before inserting the tool. You can also use the alignment tool to verify your tabs are welded straight.
2. Insert alignment tool into the cam tab plate

3. Insert alignment tool into your frame slot. This will perfectly align the cam tab plates to your frame!
   • NOTE: They may fit somewhat tight but not loose! Verify you are using the closest matching tool on models with multiple sized cam tabs.

4. Tack in your cam tab plate
5. Remove alignment tool. DO NOT fully weld your cam tabs in with the alignment tool inserted, they will melt (ask how we know).
6. Repeat this process for all 8 cam tabs. Finish welding your cam tabs in and enjoy your perfect alignment!
