The factory rubber brake lines can limit travel and are prone to breaking when articulating over rough terrain. KPOffroad brake lines will replace the factory rubber lines with heavy duty steel braided ones to increase longevity and braking performance. All necessary hardware and clips are included by default. Our brake lines are designed to work with \u003cstrong\u003emid travel\u003c\/strong\u003e setups. Our front brake lines are all 1 piece conversion and factory length. Even a heavily modified front end with stock width control arms will not articulate enough to warrant extended brake lines but will benefit greatly from heavy duty steel braided lines. Most long travel kits, which do require extended brake lines, already come with them by default. We also recommend swapping your bearings and seals when you install Spindle Gussets as the heat generated from welding can cause the internal plastic bearing cage to melt within the bearing. New hubs are not always needed but in some cases can seize to the inner race. Under shear load (see the illustration), the bolt experiences force perpendicular to its axis. As you may know there is not a ton of room between your cams and expensive steering rack. Nylocks perform fine however they are thick and only one-time use items. Any time you remove your nylcok nut you should replace it. The locking action, created by distortion of their top threads, is said to be capable of withstanding severe vibration and shock loads. The physical size is also smaller than that of a nylock so you will have clearance between the nut and your steering rack. Any kit using a nylock will not properly fit between the cam tab and the steering rack.
